Five Ways to Help

Get Involved

A new foundation runs on early believers, donors, sponsors, mentors, partners, and volunteers who choose to stand with the mission before it has every credential a mature institution will eventually have. Here's how to be one of them.

For Institutions

Partner With Us

We are actively building relationships with universities, community organizations, employer partners, and government agencies. Partners help us reach the people we serve and bring our programs into the communities where they matter most.

Universities
Curriculum, faculty, student pipelines
Community Organizations
Local reach, trusted intermediaries
Employer Partners
Workforce program placement
Government Agencies
Workforce, economic development
For Experienced Operators

Become a Mentor

Our mentor network is the backbone of every program we run. We are actively recruiting our founding cohort of experienced founders, operators, and specialists willing to give one to four hours a month to a first-time founder or learner.

  • 1–4 hours per month time commitment
  • Remote video sessions, with optional in-person at GOF events
  • Vetted matching by GOF staff, never random
  • You choose your areas of expertise, language, and capacity
  • First matches happen Fall 2026
For Everyone

Volunteer

Beyond mentorship, GOF runs on volunteers in every part of the foundation. Translation, application review, event support, content review, community ambassador work, there's a place for everyone.

  • Most volunteer roles are remote and flexible
  • Time commitments from a single hour to ongoing engagement
  • Multilingual volunteers especially welcomed
  • Training and onboarding provided
