About Global Opportunity Foundation

We are a new foundation building a serious, lasting institution. Here is who we are, why we exist, and how we plan to operate.

Mission & Vision

Why we exist.

Our Mission
Global Opportunity Foundation expands economic opportunity for individuals, families, and communities, through education, mentorship, scholarships, and the resources people need to build durable livelihoods.
Our Vision
A world where opportunity is not limited by where you were born, what your family could afford, or who you happened to know, but is available to anyone willing to learn, work, and lead.
Our Values

What we believe.

Opportunity

Everyone deserves a real shot. We invest in people, not pity them.

Empowerment

Education and infrastructure create long-term independence. We build the road; you walk it.

Excellence

World-class programs designed to be free for those who need them most.

Integrity

Transparency in finances, governance, and outcomes. Always.

Community

Strong communities create stronger economies. We invest locally, globally.

Built to Last

Designed to operate at scale, for the long term. Not a moment, an institution.

From Our Founder

Orhan A. Mutlu

I founded Global Opportunity Foundation on the conviction that the gap between people and opportunity is rarely talent. It is access, to knowledge, to people who have done it, and to the small amounts of capital that change everything.

We are starting deliberately. We are recruiting mentors, designing programs, and securing partners before we make promises we cannot keep. By the end of our first three years, we intend to be one of the most consequential new educational foundations in the country.
