Every program GOF runs is made possible by volunteers. Pick what fits your schedule, your skills, and your interests. Most opportunities can be done from anywhere.
Review and score scholarship and microgrant applications using GOF's structured rubric. Helps us award funding fairly and quickly. Each review takes about 15 minutes.
Help run our flagship annual convening. Roles include registration desk, session support, attendee experience, and after-party support. Full meal and event access included.
Help translate guides, templates, and program materials into Spanish, French, or Arabic. Native fluency required. Critical work for reaching the communities we serve.
Be the local face of GOF in your city. Attend community events on our behalf, connect us with local partners, refer prospective participants. No experience required, full onboarding provided.
Conduct 30-minute video interviews with GOF founders and scholars for our Stories program. We provide questions and recording tools. Each interview becomes a written story plus podcast clip.
Help us keep our 300+ guides, templates, and articles accurate and current. Editors review existing content, suggest updates, and occasionally write new pieces in their area of expertise.
Co-host monthly community workshops in your city, Founder Fundamentals, Financial Literacy, Career Pathways. We provide the curriculum; you bring the venue and recruit attendees with our help.
Spend one or two evenings helping a first-time founder set up their simple website. Pairs you with a vetted GOF founder; we handle the matching and provide a checklist.
Help design and update the templates, infographics, and reports in our Resource Library. Quarterly volume; clear briefs from GOF staff. Build a portfolio for a respected nonprofit.
Make a single welcome call to new GOF members in their first week. Just listen, answer questions, and point them to what's most useful. Script provided. Anyone can do this.
